The Practice has a wealth of expertise in this type of development, which in this case comprises a drive thru Costa Coffee outlet and food retail outlets for Dominos Pizza and Greggs Bakery.

Works have commenced on site on the construction of a new servicing and maintenance unit for agricultural machinery manufacturer Grimme.

The development comprises approximately 40,000 sq ft of industrial floor space, extensive hardstanding areas and high quality sales office space.

Works are progressing well on site on the construction of new storage facilities for Specialist Duct Supplies at their base in Yorkshire.

We are pleased to announce that we have another new colleague!

Neil Graham joins Ellis Healey as an experienced Part 2 Architectural Assistant, previously working at architectural practices in Bradford and Belfast.

Having grown up in Northern Ireland, he studied in Essex and Leeds before finally settling in West Yorkshire.  Neil is a passionate sports fan and follows football, rugby and American football.

New Addition

March, 2020

Fred has recently joined the Practice having completing his Part 1 at the University of the West of England. Having also previously graduated with a Masters in Civil and Structural Engineering from the University of Leeds, he decided to finally bite the bullet and get a real job!

Although he’s a Southerner, his interest in futuristic architectural ideas and post-punk helped him to fit in with the office’s Nick Cave and Robocop enthusiasts. He continues to adjust to the culture shock of living up north again, but unfortunately his darts game still has not improved!

Interchange 26

February, 2020

A planning application has been submitted for two large industrial buildings forming the first phase of development at Interchange 26 – a new 56 acre logistics and manufacturing park off the M62 in West Yorkshire.

This application comprise a total of 200,000 sq ft of floor space, extensive yard areas and high quality office space.

Clifton Moor

January, 2020

A detailed planning application has been submitted for approximately 70,000 sq ft of trade counter and industrial floor space at the the Clifton Moor Industrial Estate in York.

The proposal, for IPIF/L&G, is the latest scheme forming part of a wider programme of redevelopment of the whole estate, the first phase of which was completed in the last 12 months.

Salterfen

December, 2019

Planning permission has been granted for a new mixed retail development on a prominent coastal site at Ryhope near Sunderland for Developer, Almscliffe Properties.

The proposal features units for KFC, Burger King and Greggs together with a number of general retail units and a gym.

Gomersal

November, 2019

Planning permission has been granted for a new large residential development in Gomersal in Kirklees. The scheme comprises 98 family dwellings.

Pocklington

October, 2019

Works have been completed on our new offices for Phoenix Software Solutions in York. The scheme includes the re-configuration of an existing portal structure to accommodate 120 additional staff at the company’s existing base.

The commission was for architecture and interior design.
