Brighouse Outdoor Market

November, 2024

Demolition has commenced ahead of the construction of a new revitalised market as part of the £19.1 million UK Government funded Town Deal investment the town of Brighouse, West Yorkshire.

The Practice is providing support to Triton Construction to help deliver the £3 million permanent market on the existing canalside site, which will have around 20 fixed stalls, pop-up trading space and a feature Glulam entrance structure.

New Stanton Park

September, 2024

Planning has been approved for a new rapid Electric Vehicle Charging Hub which includes a Starbucks and McDonalds drive through. The scheme is complimented with an additional 6,000 sq ft of flexible commercial space.

The site near Ilkeston forms part of a larger employment scheme which is currently under development which includes over 195 acre site with flexible units of up to 1,000,000 sq ft.

Netherton – Planning Approval

July, 2024

A planning application has been approved for the development of 82 family dwellings. The site offers a good sustainable location for modern family living, including a children’s equipped playground, recreation space and excellent links to the existing footpath walks within Dean Wood.

Ashington!

June, 2024

A planning application has been submitted for a new retail scheme in Ashington. The scheme includes a Costa Coffee drive though and a Greggs with an 8 space Electric Vehicle charging hub.

Spooner Row – Planning

April, 2024

A planning application has been submitted for the development of 45 family dwellings in Spooner Row in Norfolk. The scheme incorporates a range of house types, recreational space and a new wetlands area to compliment the local eco system.

Scunthorpe Completion

March, 2024

Work has been completed on the construction of new Co-op Convenience store, Tanning shop and a Starbucks drive through. The scheme also includes EV charging and is a welcome addition to complement the existing facilities in the area.

Pickering Completion

March, 2024

Work is now complete on the first phase at Pickering Park, a development comprising of 20,000 sq ft subdivisible starter units.

The scheme marks the start of the redevelopment of the wider site that includes over 200,000 sq ft of commercial development.

Swim! – Planning

February, 2024

Planning permission has been granted for a new Swim! centre, Peterborough.

SWIM! Are a family-based swimming facility offering private swimming lessons to children ranging in age from 3-11 years old. The company currently have a growing number of swimming pool centres operational around the country and are looking to further expand in the future.

Promotion

January, 2024

We are delighted to inform you of the promotion of Neil Graham to the position of Associate Director at Ellis Healey Architecture!

Neil joined the Practice in March 2020 and quickly established himself as an integral member of the Team.

During his time Neil has been instrumental in the successful delivery of a number of important commercial developments including Interchange 26, Madeira and Grimme.

I’m sure that you will join me in congratulating Neil on this well deserved promotion!
