A planning application has been submitted on behalf of Vellco for a new storage and distribution facility near Malton in North Yorkshire.

The Company are specialists in the sale of tyre casings whilst also undertaking automotive component recycling including oils, filters, catalytic converters and batteries.


Union Mills

A planning application has been submitted for a new mixed retail development on a former mill complex in Eccleshill near Bradford for Developer, Opus Land.

The proposal features a Lidl food store and non-food retail units together with smaller roadside units for Starbucks and Greggs.


Rumpus, Slaithwaite

A new artisan burger restaurant, designed by the Practice, has just opened in the centre of the vibrant Pennine village of Slaithwaite.

The two-storey contemporary building has been constructed in reclaimed stone with larch and Corten steel cladding and features extensive glazing. The roof, which is visible from the Churchyard beyond, has a sedum covering.


Scunthorpe!

The construction of our apartment scheme in Scunthorpe has been completed!

The contemporary three storey development features 12 apartments with secure parking to the rear.

Norton, Stockton on Tees

Planning permission has been granted for a new mixed use scheme in Norton, Stockton on Tees.

The proposal includes a Lidl food store, 65 family dwellings and a new crematorium on the site of a former school.


Italian Design Competition!

We are pleased to confirm that our designs for an Experiential Beer Centre near Ferrara in Emilia-Romagna, Italy have received a special commendation!

Our designs incorporated a beer tasting hall, laboratory, retail and restaurant space within a partially retained beautiful sculptured north lit concrete structure with a new two storey glass and steel structure to the primary frontage.

St Helier, Jersey

We have secured our first overseas commission!!

Initial feasibility schemes have been prepared for the redevelopment of properties within the primary shopping area in St Helier, Jersey.

The ground floor of the building will remain as retail with the upper floors converted to residential use. An additional floor will be added at roof level.


Cockermouth

Revised proposals have been prepared for a new retail scheme on a gateway site on the approach to Cockermouth in the picturesque Lake District.

The scheme for this sensitive site incorporates 40,000 sq ft of food and non-food retail and utilises a palette of high quality natural materials.


SIG, Sheffield

We are pleased to confirm that planning consent has been granted for a new office building on Sheffield Business Park for international construction material supplier SIG.

The overall scheme includes the construction of a new 60,000 sq ft office and the refurbishment of the companies two existing office buildings on the site.


Queens House, Sheffield

The Practice has been commissioned to prepare detailed designs for the conversion of a large City centre office building into student housing.

Our initial studies suggest that the building will accommodate around 100 bedrooms with bar, restaurant and retail uses at ground floor.
